Complete Advisor Settings before inviting clients so the practice identity, disclosures, scheduling link, branding, and billing access are ready. These settings affect the advisor workspace and applicable client-facing reports or portal presentation.
How do I set up the practice?
Open the profile menu and select Advisor Settings.
Under Advisor, enter Name, Firm name, Disclosures, and Calendar link.
Under Appearance, set Primary Color and upload the practice Logo.
Under Import, decide whether to enable Altruist Import.
Under New Client Defaults, decide whether Giving should be enabled for new clients.
Under Billing, confirm the subscription and aggregation usage or open the billing portal as needed.
Reload the application and verify the practice name, logo, and color.
Generate a test PDF and review the disclosures before client delivery.
Advisor fields and Appearance edits persist as settings change. The external billing portal has its own confirmation steps.
What should I enter under Advisor?
Name identifies the advisor on supported reports and client-facing materials.
Firm name supplies the practice identity used by the application and client experience.
Disclosures supplies the practice disclosure text used by supported report output.
Calendar link stores the scheduling URL clients can use where Kerdora presents advisor scheduling.
Enter the complete scheduling URL, including https://. Test it in a private browser window before relying on it.
How do I configure Appearance?
Select the Primary Color field and enter a six-character hex color. Kerdora rejects colors that are too light for the interface. Select Reset to return to #9643d1.
Select Upload for the logo. Choose a JPG, PNG, GIF, or WebP file no larger than 10 MB, complete the crop, and verify the preview. Select Reset to remove the custom logo.
What should I verify under Billing?
Billing shows subscription controls and applicable account-aggregation usage. Select Subscribe when no subscription is active. Select Open billing settings to manage the active subscription, payment method, and invoices in the external billing portal.
Review the current billing screen for the applicable plan and usage rather than relying on an old Help Center price.
What do Import and New Client Defaults control?
Turn on Altruist Import under Import to make the Altruist holdings-import workflow available. Under New Client Defaults, turn on Giving when newly created clients should start with Giving enabled. The Giving default can be overridden for an individual household.
Final check before inviting clients
Confirm the advisor name, firm name, disclosure text, scheduling URL, logo, and color. Preview the portal and a test PDF. Then configure Guide assignments and invite each adult with the intended onboarding route.
