Setting Up Your Firm (Logo, Colors, Name, Disclosures)

You can set up your firm's branding and information in Settings. This is where you add your logo, choose your brand color, enter your firm name, and add disclosures. It takes about two minutes, and everything you set here carries through to the client-facing Guides and Client Portal.

To get to Settings, click your profile icon in the top-right corner to open the user menu, then select Settings.

Advisor Section

The Advisor section is where you enter your core firm information.

  • Name — Your name as the advisor (e.g., "Taylor Stewart"). This appears on reports and client-facing materials.

  • Firm Name — Your firm's name (e.g., "Stewart Financial Planning"). This also appears on reports and in the Client Portal.

  • Disclosures — A text area where you can enter any compliance disclosures or disclaimers. Whatever you type here will be included on materials generated for clients. You can paste in your standard disclosure language.

  • Calendar Link — A URL to your scheduling tool (e.g., your Calendly or scheduling page link). This gives clients a way to book meetings with you directly from the Client Portal.

Just type into each field — your changes save automatically.

Appearance Section

The Appearance section lets you customize how Kerdora looks for you and your clients.

Primary Color

Click the color picker next to Primary Color to choose a color that matches your brand. This color is used throughout the app for buttons, highlights, and accents — and it carries through to the Client Portal and Guides, so your clients see your brand color too.

If you want to go back to the default Kerdora color, click the Reset button next to the color picker.

Logo

Click Upload to add your firm's logo. You can upload image files (JPG, PNG, GIF, or WebP) up to 10 MB. After selecting your file, you'll be able to crop the image before it's saved.

Your logo appears in the top-left corner of the app (replacing the default Kerdora logo) and carries through to the Client Portal and any materials generated for clients.

If you want to remove your logo and go back to the default, click the Reset button next to your current logo.

Billing Section

The Billing section lets you manage your subscription. If you have an active subscription, click "Open billing settings" to manage your plan, update payment information, or view invoices through Stripe. If you haven't subscribed yet, you'll see a "Subscribe" button to choose a plan.

What Clients See

The branding you set up here carries through to the Client Portal and Guides. When your clients log in, they'll see your logo and your primary color throughout the interface. Your disclosures appear on any materials you share. This makes the whole experience feel like your own platform, not a generic tool.

Quick Setup Checklist

☐ Enter your name and firm name in the Advisor section

☐ Paste in your disclosures

☐ Upload your logo in the Appearance section

☐ Pick your primary color

Once these are set, you're ready to start adding clients and building Guides that look and feel like your firm.
