Managing Your Billing and Subscription

Written by Taylor Stewart
Updated this week

Your subscription and billing are managed in Settings > Billing. From there, you can see your current usage, open Stripe to manage your payment method and invoices, or subscribe if you haven't yet.

Where to Find Billing

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings. Scroll down to the Billing section. What you see depends on your subscription status:

  • Active subscription: Your account aggregation usage for the current month and an "Open billing settings" button

  • No subscription yet: A "Subscribe" button that takes you to the plan selection page

Plans and Pricing

Kerdora offers two billing options:

Monthly

Annual

Base price

$150/mo

$125/mo ($1,500 billed annually)

Savings

β€”

Save 17%

Both plans include everything:

  • Unlimited clients

  • 10 account aggregation clients included

  • Document Extractor

  • Client Portal

  • Unlimited Guides

  • Onboarding Form

  • Live investment data

  • Whitelabel branding (your logo and colors)

Account Aggregation Billing

Your first 10 clients with linked accounts are included in your base subscription. After that, each additional client with connected accounts costs $3.50/mo.

The Billing section in Settings shows your usage for the current month:

  • Total aggregated clients this billing period

  • Included clients in your plan (10)

  • Estimated usage charge if you're over the included amount

A "client" only counts toward aggregation billing if they have actively linked accounts. Clients who haven't connected accounts don't count.

If you're on the annual plan, your base is billed annually but per-client aggregation usage is billed monthly.

How to Subscribe

If you're on a 2-week free trial (or your trial has ended), you'll see the plan selection page when you click Subscribe in Settings or when Kerdora redirects you there automatically.

  1. Choose Monthly or Annual using the toggle at the top

  2. Review the pricing and included features

  3. Click Subscribe

  4. Complete checkout through Stripe's secure payment page

After checkout, you're redirected back to Kerdora with your subscription active.

Managing Your Subscription

Click "Open billing settings" in the Billing section to open Stripe's self-service portal. From there, you can:

  • Update your payment method (credit card or other payment info)

  • View and download invoices for past billing periods

  • Change your plan between monthly and annual

  • Cancel your subscription

All billing management happens through Stripe's portal. Kerdora doesn't store your payment details directly.

If Your Payment Fails

If a payment doesn't go through, Kerdora will show a "Payment Update Required" screen the next time you log in. You won't be able to access your clients until the issue is resolved.

To fix it:

  1. Click "Open billing settings" on the payment alert screen

  2. Update your payment method in Stripe

  3. Return to Kerdora. Your access will restore once the payment processes

If You Cancel (or Your Trial Ends)

If your subscription is canceled or your 2-week free trial ends without subscribing, you'll see a screen letting you know. From there you can:

  • Click "Choose a plan" to pick a new subscription

  • Click "Billing settings" to manage an existing Stripe subscription (if you had one before)

Your client data isn't deleted when your subscription lapses. Once you resubscribe, everything is right where you left it.
